Disney character sketches: Tiana (Princess and the Frog)

Sometimes, a girl has to kiss a few frogs.

Studies from Glen Keane's "Nephtali"

More studies from Glen Keane's animated short, Nephtali

Studies from Glen Keane's "Nephtali"

I love studying Glen Keane's drawings of ballerinas--they are so full of energy and movement.

Disney character sketches: Rapunzel (Tangled)

As I said, Rapunzel is really fun to draw! And the more I look at Glen Keane's work, the more I admire it.

Disney character sketches: Elsa (Frozen)

Just a little character study to wrap up the day.

Disney character sketches: Mulan

I love drawing Mulan as a fighter.

Disney character sketches: Tiana (Princess and the Frog)

Tiana is another Disney Princess I can relate to: she works really hard and she is focused on her goals. She is also a lot of fun to draw–the way she moves is so fluid (characteristic of the movie Princess and the Frog), and her face is incredibly expressive.

Disney character sketches: Mulan (Mulan)

I’ve always loved Mulan’s strength and determination, but since I started practicing Muay Thai a few years ago, I love studying fight poses!

DIsney character sketches: Rapunzel (Tangled)

Rapunzel is ridiculously fun to draw. There is so much energy in the way she moves, and that HAIR–her hair has a life of its own.

Disney character sketches: Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

More Disney Princess drawings. Belle loves to read and she craves adventure. I can relate.

Disney character sketches: Elsa (Frozen)

Lately I've been working to learn from the best--which means I'm doing a lot of Disney sketches!
